Aims & Objectives
• Development of art and science of professional caring in Nursing & Paramedical Professionals by incorporating the professional values of the discipline of nursing and assess the spirituality of self and others.
• Prepare compassionate Nursing & Paramedical Professionals to evaluate therapeutic nursing care for individuals, families and aggregate groups in a dynamic, multi-faceted health care system according to accepted standards of practice with use of information and communication technologies to care for the patient and to enhance one's own professional knowledge.
• Use of information systems and other technologies to improve the quality and safety of health care through education, risk reduction, and disease prevention for people and newborns.
• Prepare Nursing & Paramedical Professionals who can make independent decisions in nursing, protect the rights of and facilitate individuals and groups in pursuit of health, function in the hospital, community health nursing services and conduct research studies in the areas of nursing practice. They are also expected to assume the role of teacher, supervisor and manages in clinical / public health setting.
